Increase in 'Ukrzaliznytsia' tariffs threatens shutdown of some enterprises

According to forecasts from the president of the association 'Ukrmetallurhprom', Oleksandr Kalenkov, the increase in freight tariffs by 'Ukrzaliznytsia' could lead to a loss of over 10% of freight from the mining and metallurgical complex. Some enterprises have already reduced production due to the increased cost of logistics, as the global market price of ore does not allow exporters to compensate for these expenses. The situation is further complicated by high electricity prices and trade restrictions.
