High Anti-Corruption Court Freezes Cash of Former Kirovohrad Prosecutor

The High Anti-Corruption Court has frozen $1,200 and 200 UAH seized from Yuriy Kovalov, the former first deputy head of the Kirovohradska regional prosecutor's office. The freezing was ordered as part of a criminal investigation into allegations that Kovalov demanded a bribe. He had previously been taken into custody with an option for bail set at 3 million UAH.
