Percentage of Salary Deductions in Ukraine

In Ukraine, labor relations are governed by law, specifying the deductions that employers can make from employees' salaries. According to Article 128 of the Labor Code, employers may withhold between 20% and 50% of wages in specific cases, such as late advance returns or incorrectly calculated salaries. The State Labor Service emphasized that the total amount of deductions should not exceed 20% of the salary at each payment.
