Exhumation in Volyn: Remains of Nine Bodies from World War II Discovered

In the Volyn region, exhumation is ongoing at the former village of Vola Ostrovecka, where archaeologists have already discovered the remains of nine individuals, likely victims of the 1943 socio-ethnic conflict. Ukrainian and Polish researchers are involved in the work, and after cleaning the remains, they plan to conduct anthropological studies. The excavation has been underway for five days, with findings including a ring and buttons.
