Future of Maternity Departments in Bukovina: Risk of Closure Due to Low Birth Rates

Seven out of nine maternity departments in Chernivtsi Oblast did not meet the requirement for a minimum number of births, putting their existence at risk. Local residents express concerns about potential closures due to long distances to other medical facilities. The article discusses changes in contracting rules that may help preserve these departments.
